Jill has an impressive career in the insurance industry which which started 32 years ago. She has been an Agent, Sales Manager and historically involved in the industry by professionally supporting and being active in the Akron Association of Life Underwriters as an Executive Board Member and fulfilling various duties as needed. Her participation included being the Education Chairwoman for the Association where she received National Association Awards for her outstanding performance in coordinating agent continuing education and the LUTC program.
Initially Jill entered the insurance business with Credit Life Insurance Company. She worked on Workers Compensation and Disability Claims where her success lead her to being a Supervisor in that department. She remained with this organization for 2 years.
Her success lead her to moving to Wichert Insurance Agency in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She became a licensed Property and Casualty Agent where she provided sales and service for various insurance lines with various insurance companies. This relationship lasted for 5 years.
Her success at Wichert Insurance lead her to be recruited by the Prudential Insurance Company. Her 13 year history with Prudential reflects her success as a Multi-Lines Agent and promotion to being a Sales Manager. She enjoyed success by selling, servicing, and training agents in Life Insurance, Annuities, Mutual Funds and Property and Casualty Insurance. As a Sales Manager she also had special responsibilities in her District Office to resolve Client concerns and disputes.
Subsequently Jill had the desire to be self employed. She joined the Wayne Agency in Cuyahoga Falls, as an Independent Broker when she left Prudential. She has maintained this relationship over the past 22 years where she still takes care of her clients.
Her success and reputation in the insurance industry lead to her recruitment into the Independence Financial Group in Copley, Ohio. Jill’s experience was needed in sales, servicing, and updating Life Insurance, Disability Insurance and Long Term Care portfolios of professionals needing more sophisticated services due to their higher incomes and larger asset base and portfolios.
Ultimately, Jill and her husband decided to combine their insurance industry experience in their Partnership, J. P. M. Insurance Services.
